Sneha, who is now acting as heroine to Mamootty in Thuruppu Gulan is all thrilled.

'It's always a great joy to be part of a movie featuring a prominent actor like Mammootty', she says.

After a controversy-ridden last year (2005), the new year has begun with great hope for me with Thuruppu Gulan, she says.

'I play a modern and happy-go-lucky girl's role in the movie, who comes down from Singapore to bail out her father from trouble’.

Sneha is playing a call-girl in her Tamil film Pudhupettai. She is keen now to do only movies, which would have scope for the heroine to perform.

'I don't want to do glamour roles. I want to act in films that would provide scope to perform. Thuruppu Gulan is one such film'.
