We have heard composers become singers. On the other hand actors turning singers is not a new trend at all with Abhishek Bachchan being the latest to join the league. But when a producer becomes a singer, especially in her first foray in film making, it certainly makes some news.

We are talking about Poonam Khubani, the glamorous producer of 'Aryan', who has not just recently completed her fun looking action flick but also rendered for the leading lady in the movie, Sneha Ullal. The song in question is the racy 'Ek Look Ek Look' that is a peppy young number picturised on Sohail Khan, Sneha Ullal and a horde of background dancers. A hip number that boasts of some good choreography (set in the boxing ring), it is composed by Anand Raaj Anand who is also the composer for the album

While we were a little apprehensive about the final results when the song begun, towards the end we were convinced that Poonam did a good job by coming behind the mikes. A song that should become popular as days progress, it appears in three versions (an original, remix and a dhol version) in the album.

Well, this defies a popular saying as Poonam has her cake and eats it too!
