All through last year many Tamil films were either dubbed or remade into Telugu.

That was one of the disturbing trends of the year.

But things had to change, and it looks like it may change this year.

Now Tamil filmdom seems to be looking up to Telugu industry for remakes.

This Sankranthi two big hits in Telugu that have been remade in Tamil have hit the screens there.

Atanokkade has been made as Aathi. It stars Vijay and Trisha as hero and heroine.

Meanwhile, Bhadra has come out as Saravana with Simbu and Jyothika in the leads.

Hope this shift of fortunes continues.
