A former beauty pageant and a hot favorite in Bollywood, Swetha Menon, is busy acting in a Malayalam movie titled Tantra. Films like Bandham and Ishq gave her the sex symbol tag.

She is paired opposite Aravind in Tantra.

Her forthcoming films include 'Kisse Pyar Karoon' with Arshad Warsi and Madhur Bhandarkar's eagerly awaited film 'Corporate'.

Debutant director K J Bose's Tantra is nearing completion.

Speaking about the movie, Bose says, 'it is the synthesis of myth, magic and mystery.'

A one-time associate of Shaji Kailash, Bose says, 'The story of Tantra has a universal flavor and we have been careful about the cast. Alex Paul, the music director has put in lots of effort to create the right kind of rhythm to suit the mood of the film'

Swetha Menon says, 'I would love to do more movies in Malayalam. But I will be very choosy and select my characters with great caution'.
