Beauty and bounty

Saloni looks dainty. Like freshly-plucked flower, there is a certain amount of tenderness to her.
When we saw her in Dhana 51, only this beauty was evident. But after seeing her in Sankranthi releases, we also now know that a powerful brain ticks beneath the beauty.
The year 2006 may see the coming of age of Saloni as an actress. The pointers are all there in Sankranthi releases of Chukkallo Chandrudu and Kokila.
In the first film, she plays a Sania Mirza kind of role with poise and panache. She looks stunningly beautiful in fetching mini-skirts and hugging tops. In Kokila, too she is no less ravishing. In this comedy caper, she has a whale of time enjoying the fun and frolic.
The two films have shown that Saloni, who started her career as a model, has it in her to make it as an actress. I love uncomplicated acting. I like to keep things simple, she says.
She says, she had a fruitful time in Tollywood so far. The experiences have been good, she adds.
And it promises to remain that way as she has plenty of important films in her kitty now.
