Director Fazil, who completes silver jubilee in Malluwood, will be doing a movie with Mammootty next year.

The movie would be completed and released next Onam.

Besides directing, Fazil would be producing the same.

It may be recalled that Fazil started his sojourn in Malayalam filmdom with Manjil Virinja Pookkal about 25 years ago and gave the Malayalam film world Mohanlal.

With 18 Malayalam films, 10 in Tamil, and one in Telugu under his belt, Fazil has won the maximum number of State awards for the best film with popular appeal and aesthetic value.

Four of his films to be awarded in this category are Manjil Virinja Pookkal, Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu, Ennennum Kannettante and Manichitrathazu.
