Just when every one thought Rajasekhar was finished as an actor with the flop of Nayakudu, things are looking up for him.

The beleaguered star, who not long ago was known for his flighty dialogues and heavy action, had seen many of his recent movies bite the dust at the box office.

His much-expected Apthudu and Nayakudu were box office whimpers.

The critics had unsheathed their pens to write the obituary on his career.

But there is change in the script.

Rajasekhar, who is currently doing Muppalaneni Siva's Raja Babu, has been roped by Super Good Films.

He is said to play the hero in the remake of the Kannada hit Anna Thangi. Produced by Super Good Films' R B Chowdary, the movie will have a young director at the helm.

Super Good Films and Rajasekhar had earlier done the film Simharasi (a remake of the Tamil hit Mayi).

Rajasekhar has always been known for his remakes.

Super Good Films is already working on two remakes ---Annavaram and Andala Ramudu.
