And this seems the trend in the industry.Close on the heels of Srikanth obtaining the Chennai distribution rights for his Pambara Kannalae scheduled for release early next month, Surya has acquired the Chennai distribution for his film Ghajini.

The movie released all across the State on Today and is directed by Murugadoss and produced by Salem Chandrasekhar. Asin and Nayantra play the ladylove to Surya in the movie.

Besides distribution, Surya has also acquired the remake rights of the movie. With Tamil dubbing getting good response in neighboring Andhra Pradesh, Surya is planning to dub the film in Telugu very soon.
