Seema Biswas, who shot to fame playing the role of Phoolan Devi in Shekhar Kapur's much-acclaimed but controversial film "Bandit Queen," will now be seen as a police officer in a forthcoming Tamil film.

Seema will find herself on the other side of the barricade in "Thalaimagan", with Sarath Kumar as the hero.

"Thalaimagan," now under production, is planned as the 100th film of macho star Sarath.

Paired with Sarath will be Nayantra, who acted with him in "Ayya" and starred in Rajinikanth's blockbuster "Chandramukhi."

The rest of the cast will include multi-faceted Prakash Raj and comedian Vadivelu.

"Thalaimagan," for which Cheran is writing the screenplay, is expected to be released after two other Sarath films, "Chanakya" and "Khaki."
