As expected, the new theatrical promo of Salaam Namaste was out with the screening of Mangal Pandey. The factor that brings the two movies together - Yashraj Films! While Mangal Pandey is distributed by Yashraj Films, the production house is also ready with their latest venture Salaam Namaste.

The promo did throw a surprise and caught the attention of the viewers as it was totally 'different' from the kind you may have ever seen. Rather than going through the conventional song'n'dance routine or a 30 seconds teaser or a 5 minutes dialogues promo, the promo team has come up with a new strategy.

Instead the 3 minutes long promo has the two lead characters - Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta - introduce the movie in a casual setting as if they are giving an interview (very much on the lines of the opening sequence of 'Mr. And Mrs. Smith'). Quite funny with tongue in cheek humor, the promo has turned out to be quite catchy with audience thoroughly enjoying each and every moment.

Seems like Yashraj Films has another ace in their hands ready !!
