The wait is over! After a month of uncertainty regarding the marketing and publicity strategy of the magnum opus 'Mangal Pandey - The Rising', there was finally something worthwhile happening to create a buzz around the movie.

The kick start for the mega promotion of the movie began the evening of 14th July with the music of 'Mangal Pandey' formally [and finally] getting released. The event happened at the posh theatre Priya PVR in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and to grace the occasion were the entire cast and crew of the movie.

Galaxy of stars arrived in the form of Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Amisha Patel, A.R.Rehman, producers Bobby Bedi and Deepa Sahi, director Ketan Mehta, lyricist Javed Akhtar, Yash Chopra, Chief Guest General J.J. Singh [Chief Of Army Staff] amongst many other. A special sneak preview of the movie was held [showcasing movie's songs] followed by a press conference.
