Actress Diya, who is known for playing glamorous roles has chosen to play different character in her forthcoming movie Kodambakkam.

The movie starring Punnagai Poovae fame Nandha in the lead role is directed by Jagan.

On her role ,"It is true that I play a homely role in the movie. The story demands me to play serious sari-clad woman. However it doesn't mean that I have bid bye to glamour", she says.
