Following the foot-steps of Vijayashanthy, Vindhaya is trying her luck in playing an action-packed role.
Vindhaya, who made her debut in Sangamam opposite Rehman, ran out of offers and took to item numbers and even glamorous roles in few films.
Now, she is playing the heroine in a movie titled Azhagu Nilayam where she flexes her muscle.
She would be playing an action heroine in the movie, which went to floors recently. It is all about a girl bringing an end to few anti-socials.
Vindhaya had underwent a training course in martial arts to equip herself do this role.
