This has to happen sooner or later. Though Bhatts have tasted success at a consistent pace with 'Zeher' being the latest film to hit the bull's eyes, it seemed a stretch too much to devise a movie titled 'Blue Film'.

A movie based on the life of a pornography star, it was always an interesting concept [though briefly touched upon in black comedy 'Mumbai Matinee' starring Rahul Bose].

But in the wildest dreams, one couldn't imagine posters screaming all over the city with 'Blue Film' in BOLD prints or families proudly announcing that they were going to watch 'Blue Film' in a neighborhood theatre.

So this is where twist in the tale comes. Not one of those people to drop a project amidst controversy, Vishesh Films have re-titled their 'Blue Film' as 'Kalyug'. The concept, storyline and execution still remain the same with only the title change coming into picture.

To be directed by Mohit ‘Zeher’ Suri, 'Kalyug' stars Bhatts' protegee Kunal Khemu, newcomer Muskaan and Deepal Shaw in principal roles.
