Finally it’s official. Kasthoori Raja the father of Selvaraghavan has announced that his son is to tie the knot in January and the bride is Sonia Agarwal.. Selvaraghvan and Sonia from their first film Kadhal Kondain were in love. Though they were never seen in public the first public appearance of the couple at the closed door wedding of Dhanush with Aishwarya daughter of Rajnikant brought it to limelight. The fact that she signed three more films made it look that she was drifting away from the director. When the couple came again in public for Dhanush’s sister’s wedding the reports of the split has been put to rest.

Kasthoori Raja has stated that though Selvaraghavan tried to give the slip by saying that he wanted to do the Hindi remake of Kadhal kondain before tying the knot, he did not budge. Sonia will finish off her present commitments and then its goodbye to films. The reason is that taking care of a hubby who has a passion for films is itself a full time task.
