Yes, Narasimhudu, the much-hyped film of NTR, failed to make it to the theaters this morning as the financial problems of the producer Changala Venkat Rao stalled the movie's release this morning.

It was no secret in the industry that the film had overrun its budget. And in the last few days, the producer could not come up with the funds to clear the film's release from the lab. He reportedly owes several crores of rupees to the financiers.

In the event, it was a virtual bedlam at the theaters that were supposed to screen the film.

Advance ticket-buyers and NTR fans had angry altercations with the theater staff and gave vent to their ire on the billboards and other vulnerable objects.

Though the producer's men and the financiers were talking it out, it is unlikely that the film will make it to the theaters later today.

And come to think of it, the producer had the gall to release ads claming that the film will celebrate 100 days in several centers.

Bad times indeed for NTR.
