The Dhanush-Simbu competition doesn't seem to be ending at all. The blockbuster Telugu movie Arya was all set for a remake in Tamil starring Dhanush. The much hyped remake movie was supposed to be directed by cinematographer Arvindkrishna with screenplay by Selvaraghavan.

Unfortunately, Dhanush is said to have demanded a huge salary which resulted in the producers deciding to shelve the project. Now the producers have apparently approached Silambarasan for the title role.

Silambarasan, who was impressed with the story has apparently accepted to do the Tamil remake of Arya. It may be recalled that Dhanush similarly missed the opportunity to play the lead role in Kadhal which went to Bharath.

Silambarasan, who is currently busy with Totti Jaya, Vallavan and A/C will begin Arya by the year-end. This will yet again spiral talks about Dhanush-Simbu feud simmering further.
