It is too early to say whether Chakram is a hit or not.

But going by initial box office reports, the film may not have a pride of place in Prabhas's CV.

Though it is him who approved of the film, Prabhas has not managed to get the kind of returns that he would have otherwise hoped for.

Desperately in the rat race for a good slot in the industry, Prabhas has to now look for other ventures to lift him from what is hoped as a temporary slip up.

Of course he has plenty of interesting offers. Pournami with the hot-shot MS Raju and Prabhu Deva is obviously one.

But his next release will be Chatrpathi.

Directed by the technically savvy S S Chandramouli, Chatrapathy has evoked high expectations.

And an extra interest in the film is the fact that the film has a story that uses the tsunami disaster as a backdrop.

Industry hands say that the film talks about corrupt politician who wants use tsunami relief to make extra bucks. The hero, of course, is altruistic, and nixes all his efforts. This is the brought outline of the story.

Of course, there are many other interesting aspects to the film. Lot of action and comedy has been woven into the script. Shriya is the heroine while M M Keeravani has scored the music.

For Prabhas, this tsunami-based film is a good opportunity to create a wave for himself in the State.
