Priyanka Chopra hates 'sex symbol' tag

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, whose sizzling presence has light up the silver screen, Tuesday said she hates being termed a "sex symbol".
"I hate, rather detest, the phrase sex symbol being linked to me. I am not doing anything in my films to be rated like that. For me, acting is more important and it is talent alone that survives in the end," the 22-year-old actress said.
Here to announce her endorsement of cellular provider Spice Telecom for its new range of mobile services, she joked: "This is the first product that I am endorsing. May be, it will add spice to my life."
The actress had recently tasted success with "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge", which co-starred Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
She had also named the best actor in a negative role at the Filmfare awards ceremony last month.
Priyanka, who hails from the region - her family lives in Ambala city in Haryana - had been a Miss World and Miss India before joining films in Mumbai.
Spice, the oldest cellular telecom company in Punjab that was the market leader till three years ago, has signed up Priyanka as their brand ambassador for the next three years.
The company also launched a 'Priyanka limited edition team pack' scheme in which mobile subscribers can save money on pre-paid connections by getting new ones.
A new ring tone, called Priyanka's ring, was also launched Tuesday.
Spice Telecom managing director Umang Das said the company was going to expand in a big way in Punjab and upgrade its existing infrastructure.
