Samantha has shocked everyone by saying that even she has suffered with diabetes two years back.

Speaking on why she agreed to play diabetic in 'S/o Satyamurthy', Samantha says, "Diabetes is very common now and it is a very small problem compared to the many problems being faced by girls. Even I had suffered from diabetes two years back. So I accepted the role of a girl, suffering from diabetes, in 'S/o Satyamurthy'. Audiences are enjoying some of my scenes in which I am seen as a diabetic".
