While 'Fan' which was supposed to release on 14th August 2015, will be delayed. And instead, that slot will be taken over by 'Brothers', which was earlier slated to release on July 31st.
It so happened that recently 'Fan' producer Aditya Chopra called up Dharma Productions' head Karan Johar to take over the Independence Day slot for his 'Brothers. This update was shared by KJo via Twitter thus, "Adi just called and asked me to release BROTHERS on the 14th of August,2015 as FAN is postponed...gestures likes this make my day special..." Dharma Productions' too confirmed this by tweeting "BROTHERS to release on 14th August 2015. Starring @akshaykumar @S1dharthM @Asli_Jacqueline directed by @karanmalhotra21". Directed by Karan Malhotra, 'Brothers' also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez and it is the remake of Hollywood film 'Warrior'.
Touted to be an intense drama, 'Fan' is about a superstar and his look alike fan.
