Sarathkumar shot for the climax scene of 'Sandamarutham', directed by A Venkatesh, for almost 32 hours without rest. He did this for Meera Nandan, who had to leave for Dubai.

"Since Meera Nandan took up a job as radio jockey and program producer in a radio station, the deadline for her to join there was nearing. Realizing the need to complete the shoot before that, Sarath and other members of the team worked hard for almost 32 hours non-stop," sources said.

The film has music by James Vasanthan and the audio was released in Chennai recently. Interestingly, Sarath has crooned for a song, along with singer Cassandra.
