This Children`s Day, National award winning actress and international recording artist, Priyanka Chopra, set an example by innovatively completing the "Swacch Bharat" challenge that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi nominated her for.

Priyanka Chopra despite having a choc-o-bloc schedule , ensured that she followed the challenge through, by personally identifying an area (ground in Yari Road,Versova)and putting together extra manpower and resources ,to help give the people living in the area a fresh and clean start .

The actress hoped to set an example, documenting the entire process that looks to educate civilians ,on the importance of nurturing and maintaining a cleaner India.

The initiative that caught much traction on the social media front, was lauded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who took to a popular micro-blogging site to voice his praise.
