It sure looks like Abhishek Sharma`s 'The Shaukeens' is getting more star-studded with each passing day. Close on the heels of the news that Abhishek Bachchan has done a friendly appearance in the film, we now hear that Kareena Kapoor too stars in a cameo.

According to sources, though the makers are keeping it quiet, the fact is that Bebo shot for the film a few days back at a studio in Bandra, Mumbai. The actress was already engaged in a photo-shoot at the same studio so she requested the makers of The Shaukeens to organize their shoot too at the venue.

Director Sharma has been so impressed with Bebo`s scene that he`s been raving about it to one and all. When we spoke to him, his excitement was palpable. "I had never worked with Kareena before this," he says. "When she is in front of the camera, she is just electrifying. And she has such great comic timing - we had a blast."

A source reveals, "In fact, when the two met at the shoot, Kareena and Sharma got along like a house on fire. Though she hadn`t seen his first film (Tere Bin Laden), she told him she had heard great things about it. She even expressed a keen desire to watch The Shaukeens before she leaves for Delhi in the first week of November for a film shooting."

Interestingly, the last film that Kareena and Abhishek were a part of was J.P. Dutta`s LoC Kargil, which released in December 2003.

Now, 11 years later, they come together once more for 'The Shaukeens'.
