Of all the flicks that wanted to lock horns this holiday season, 'Poojai' was the first of them all to declare the release date and stick to it. Director Hari's Vishal-Shruthi Hassan starrer also has Radhikaa, Sathyaraj, Kousalya, Thalaivasal Vijay and Jayaprakash to its star cast. Now with just a couple of days left for the film to hit the big screens, prebooking had opened to whooping response filling up the cash registers.

Speaking on his release for this Diwali, Vishal says that he plays a money lender in 'Poojai'. "Hari's unique taste of screenplay ensures a gripping action thriller. The film revolves around three independent stories based in Bihar, all of which have an impact on the protagonist's life. The movie is an interesting story and a must watch family entertainer" says Vishal, upbeat about his action flick. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja; Priyan is behind the camera.
