'Finding Fanny' collects a cool 28.09 crore in its first week!

Homi Adajania's quirky comedy is rock steady at the counters as it collected 28.09 crores in its first week. The film is being hailed as the break-out film of 2014 and it rode on unanimously positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth to register a fantastic week one collection.
The film had taken a flying start in its first weekend as it collected 19.9 crore nett over the weekend in India and 1.6 million dollars from the overseas market. The film then passed the crucial Monday test as it collected 2.5 crore, thereby proving that the audiences had loved the film.
The movie held well at the counters through the week. Here is the break-up -
1st weekend - 19.9 crore

Thursday - 1.7 crore
