The trailblazer of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran – actor, director, producer, writer, music director etc has announced his wish to take over the regime of Chairman of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy.

The position of KCA Chairmanship vacant after new government taking over is now functioning with government officials Dr Shalini Rajanish IAS as President and Director of Information Department government of Karntaka NR Vishukumar.

V Ravichandran hinted to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah recently that he is ready to take on any work for the good progress of the Kannada cinema industry. Obviously his name is also in the race with names like Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa, SV Rajendra Singh Babu and actress Bhavana who is Congress I campaigner in the last elections.

It was former information minister Santosh Lad inquired on taking over this position to V Ravichandran. He told him that that he is ready to any task for the benefit and uplift of Kannada cinema industry. Even without that I am thinking at progress of Kannada cinema industry pointed V Ravichandran. On the issue of government setting up film city V Ravichandran is ready to give his ideas.
