The Norwegian premier of Revolver Rani received a thumping response at the opening of the 11th Norway Bollywood Film Festival at Oslo yesterday. Director Sai Kabir received the best debut Director Award while producers Rahul Mittra and Raju Chadha bagged the best producer award for their film from the Mayor of Lorenskog and the Indian ambassador to Norway.

Organised by Nasrullah Qureshi, the Norway Bollywood Film Festival is one of the biggest film festivals in Scandinavia attracting thousands of Asians and locals each year. The opening of the festival saw a fashion show by the JD Institute of fashion technology, spectacular performances from Norwegian and polish dance groups, apart from a mesmerizing concert by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Dr L Subramaniam. Other awardees included actors Suniel Shetty, Divya Dutta & Mahie Gill.
