Superstar's 'Lingaa' Movie Stills

K.S.Ravikumar directed Lingaa` is the full length feature film that our Superstar Rajinikanth is acting after his physical ailment in 2011. Perhaps to prove that he has completely recovered and he is as energetic as a youngster, the sexagenarian star is acting in dual roles in the flick. Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha are is love interests in the film.

The film produced on a huge scale by Rocline Venkatesh is progressing rapidly at Shimoga in Karnataka. The schedule will end in the next few days and with that the talkie portions of the film would have been completed. After that the team is expected to fly to European nations to can the songs composed by Isaipuyal` A.R.Rahman. Sources say that unlike the usual practice a large number of crew members along with Rajini, Anushka, Sonakshi, and Cameraman Rathnavelu and last but not least the director Ravikumar will be travelling to Europe.

Lingaa` has raised the expectations of fans since Rajini`s earlier film Kochadiiyaan` that was shot with Motion capture technology, despite being successful did not achieve as much as a normal Rajini film. Lingaa` is scheduled to release on December 12 as the star`s birthday treat to his fans.The first look of the film released on Vinaykar Chathurthi that fell on August 29.
