While it was said that Sooraj Barjatya`s much awaited film Prem Ratan Dhan Pao` has Salman Khan in double role, here`s an interesting revelation - one of the characters that the superstar is playing is that of a king, called Ratan. Whereas the other` Salman is merely a common man, Prem.

According to sources, in the movie Salman the King`s identical twin gets separated and enjoys a life of his own, outside Ratan`s fantasy kingdom. Barjatya has written Ratan's character in such a way he is presented as the perfect King, with golden heart who is always at the service of his subjects. Salman said to have given lots of inputs for both these characters, Ratan and Prem, which are positive roles.

If there`s good, then bad won`t be behind - and the one who adds the darker shade to this movie is Neil Nitin Mukesh, who plays Ratan`s step-brother in the movie. On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor who is paired up with Salman as the King, is naturally playing the princess`s role.

Currently, the shooting is taking place at ND Studio in Karjat on a grand scale, against a lavish backdrop.
