Krishna Vamsi is a maverick director. His films with their off-beat ideas and themes bear that out. Though he is a mass director, there is lot of sensibilities interwoven into his movies.

So when Krishna Vamsi is all set to join hands with Ravi Teja, the most mass of all heroes, there is an intriguing expectation.

The duo is set to do a film named Pourudu (subject to change). Teja has just about winding his Chanti while Krishna Vamsi is busy with his Chakram starring Prabhas.

Teja's has already worked with Krihna Vamsi in Khadgam. Both share a very good working relationship.

Teja says he understands what Vamsi would want and the latter has a good knowledge of what his actor is capable of.

Teja is obviously excited to work with Vamsi. He needs a big film to keep the momentum in his career going.

For Krishna Vamsi, who is at the butt of a controversy over his alleged remarks on Telugu actors, a film with Teja is a different challenge of sorts.

But Vamsi, we all know, revels in such pressure situations.
