Actor Rajnikanth doesn't have any actress opposite him in Chandramukhi. Though it was said Aishwarya Rai might act alongside him, sources say, Rajnikanth doesn't have a pair in the movie. They add, Malayalam actress Nayanathara plays a brief role in the movie. She is portrayed as a young girl loving Rajnikanth desperately, but in vain. Prabhu has Simran acting opposite him in the movie.
