While his recent paparazzi cold war is still fresh, the 'Kick' star comes out to support another celebrity who has become a target of political sensation. Tennis star Sania Mirza had recently caught herself in the midst of a big controversy, with a few political leaders calling her the daughter-in-law of Pakistan and opposing the government`s decision of making her the brand ambassador of Telengana. However superstar Salman Khan has come out in support of Mirza by tweeting, "Wah yaarrr! sania mirza , kamaal karti ho . Like the spirit , issse bolteh hain kick ass."

Other celebrities like Farah Khan also supported Sania by tweeting, CONGRATS my darling!! Proud friend am I !!

Writer-Author Mushtaq Shiekh was feeling proud and he tweeted, "You keep going ahead...Don't pay attention to these bigots & the venom they spew! India is proud of you! Very proud!" Lastly Bigg Boss winner Gauhar Khan also voiced her opinion on Twitter, "Bade acche din aaye hain.Evry decision is a communal 1.@MirzaSania is India's daughter but she cnt be brand ambassador to a state.?"
