It was in 2000 that Aamir Khan starrer 'Lagaan' had released which went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood. However, years later a controversy emerged surrounding the cast and crew of the movie...

Assistant conservator of forest, Kutch range J V vyas had filed a complaint in the year 2006, citing that 7 members of the film illegally shot a Chinkara. He further alleged that the animal went missing after the shooting, hinting that the animal may have been killed.

At that time, the local court had issued bailable warrants against Khan and others but recently the Gujarat High court began hearing on the petition which was filed by team 'Lagaan' against the allegations made on them. The hearing will proceed on Monday.
