Speaking about this in a recent interview, Dr.Murali Manohar one of the producers of the flick directed by Soundarya Ashwin Rajinkanth has admitted that the film’s commercial performance in North India has been disappointing while it is doing exceptionally well in Tamil and Telugu markets. Dr.Murali Monohar has said that the motion capture technology used in the film was handled well with the limited time and budget available but it has failed to attract the North Indian audience. He also assured that the new technology will be handled even better in the sequel to ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.

Nevertheless, the producer is confident that the film will recover its cost in North India also but it will take more time than expected.
