While excitement had set in some time ago that after ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut will yet again be seen in an imposing character in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film ‘Durga Rani Singh’, latest development brings in sad news.

Buzz is that Kangana has opted out of the project since her work diary is quite full. Earlier speculations were rife that the actress was unhappy with the fees offered to her. But Kangana, who was last seen in 'Revolver Rani' clarified to sources that it is only because she has date issues, she rejected the movie. In ‘Durga Rani Singh’, Kangana was supposed to play a thirty five year old mother to fourteen year old paralytic girl.

Initially Sujoy Ghosh wanted his favourite ‘Kahaani’ actress Vidya Balan to play the female lead. However she had refused the movie for taking a break from work. Now looks like the director is back to square one and has to take up the hunt for heroine again.
