The super success of 'How old are you' has made its lead lady Manju Warrier comment that her character in the movie was modelled like her personal life. Manju in his open letter has described her success as' like getting the lost toy for a kid. ''You all have given me my past that had gone away from me.

My emotions cannot be expressed by saying just Thank You. The love and expectations that you all have given me has made me give my soul to Nirupama. Now I realize that she is you all as well. I dedicate this success to the womenfolk in Kerala,” she explained.

Anyhow Kunchakko Boban who played the male chauvinist husband in the movie is explaining that in real life he never had been like this character Rajeev. He find himself similar only when he holds the hands of his wife in a later scene in support and admiration.
