Veteran actress Neetu Singh is thrilled that her nephew Armaan’s debut film is titled ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’.

Decades ago, Neetu had done a special song by the same title for the film -Yaadon ki Baarat. Etched in our minds, one always recalls an effervescent Neetu wearing a red dress & dancing to RD Burman’s track. (see the pic).. The song went on to become a chart-buster of that time and holds a special place for Neetu Singh.

But besides the title, what she is more excited is the fact that her nephew will be debuting with this movie and hence feels she has a personal and professional connect with it.

When quizzed the actress herself, she excitedly said "This was my first film when I was merely in 8th standard and had faced the camera for the first time. This song holds a very special place in my heart. When I learnt that Armaan’s film was titled "Lekar Hum Deewana Dil" I was super excited, I also shared my feelings with Armaan’s mother on the title of the film".

An entertainer for the youth by the youth - Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is all about making mistakes and growing up as it takes audiences through the journey of two friends who take decisions, face consequences and learn from them. It reflects the "act first, think later" sentiments of today's youth and how relationships fail over unrealistic expectations.
