Now on the same day a Tamil film will also be hitting the screens. It will not be a directed Tamil film and it is the dubbed version of Malayalam film ‘Makaramanju’ that had acclaimed filmmaker and cinematographer Santhosh Sivan in the lead role. It was also the debut Malayalam flick of Krirthika Nair the elder daughter of actress Radha. The film which was a biopic on artist Raja Ravivarma released in Malayalam in the year 2011 ‘Makaramanju’ has been directed by Lenin Rajendrian and Madhu Ambat is the cinematographer. Ramesh Narayanan has scored the music.

The film’s cast includes Nithya Menen, Mallika Kapoor and Poorna who have acted in Tamil films and the Tamil version of the film has been aptly titled as ‘Apsaras’.
