As we all know, Superstar Rajinikanth who has started working on his next film ‘Lingaa’ even before the release of his upcoming film ‘Kochadiiyaan’ will be acting in dual roles in the K.S.Ravikumar directorial and he will be romancing Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka in the film.

Sonakshi who will be the pair for Rajini in the part of the story set in the 1940’s has been shooting for the film right from the day (May 2) the film was launched in Mysore. The tall beauty Anushka who will be Rajini’s love interest in the contemporary era part of the story is yet to join the shoot.

Anushka is busy with two mammoth Telugu projects ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Rani Rudamma Devi.’ She also started acting with Ajith in the actor’s 55th film that is being directed by Gautham Menon, a few weeks back. Now sources reveal that the ‘Irandam Ulagam’ actress is expected to join the ‘Lingaa’ shoot by the end of May.

In a related development, sources close to ace comedian Vadivelu confirmed that he was indeed approached for a role in ‘Lingaa’ and the actor is interested in taking up the offer. The star comedian is expected to give his final nod for the role soon.

Since the story is set in two eras Santhanam is also being approached for a comedy oriented role but he is yet to confirm anything about the offer.
