After the commercially successful and critically acclaimed Raanjhanaa, actor Dhanush has started working on his second Bollywood project which has many prominent celebrities who command national level acclaim. In this film directed by Balki who gave us Cheeni Kum and Paa, Amitabh Bachchan is acting in one of the central characters. The film has musical score by Maestro Ilaiyaraja and P.C.Sreeram is cranking the camera.

Dhanush got the privilege of acting with Amitabh for first time recently. He has expressed his over pouring joy for having shot with the Big B, in his Twitter page with the following words, "My first day shoot with @SrBachchan sir. Will remain a very very very special day for me. #humble #simple #hard working. So happy."

Dhanush will be sharing screen space with Akshara Haasan, the younger daughter of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who is making her on screen debut with this film. Earlier, the National award winning actor had paired up with Shruthi Haasan in the Tamil romantic flick 3 directed by his wife Aishwarya.

This third directorial of Balki which is yet to be titled is expected to hit the screens within the end of this year.
