Of course not in real. For the forthcoming film of Zoya Akhtar, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, versatile actress Tabu was offered to play Priyanka Chopra’s on-screen mom. But the ‘Chandni Bar’ famed diva clearly said a ‘no’.

According to sources, Tabu flatly refused to do the motherly character, citing that she felt she is not apt for the role. It can be recalled that the actress had already played a mother’s role in the highly acclaimed film ‘Life Of Pi’. However Tabu, who was recently seen in ‘Jai Ho’, added that playing PC’s mother is not the kind of role she is interested to do right now.

Besides, currently she is busy with Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Haider’ and has also signed her next with ‘Queen’ famed director Vikar Bahl, titled ‘Return Gift’, also starring Shahid.

‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, has a very interesting cast including Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar. The film is expected to on floors soon and will be releasing on June 05 2015, which also happens to be the first film to release after IPL.
