More than half a decade after 'Dostana' [2008], Shilpa Shetty is returning to the big screen with 'Dishkiyaoon'. Though her chartbuster track 'Shut up and Dance' continues to be played till date, debutant director Sanamjit Talwar, who has directed 'Dhsikiyaoon', truly believes that Shilpa's newest track 'Tu Mere Type Ka Nahi Hai' would set the screen on fire as well.
"When I had shown the final cut of the film to Shilpa, she hugged me 5-6 times and said it was a beautiful film. Then after three days Raj (Kundra) said that we should also have an item number. I knew that Shilpa had liked the film so much that she wanted to work in it. Result was a beautifully shot song; it is a deadly number," says Sanamjit.
Secretly though, the young filmmaker was hoping right from the beginning of the film's shoot that Shilpa features in it.
"Shilpa has not done an item number in such a long time. I used to tell her earlier also that she should be a part of my film. After all, with such a hot heroine, a song was a must," he chuckles, "So when she eventually said that 'main aa jaati hoon picture mein', it was music to my ears as my wish had come true. She is looking absolutely hot and sizzling in 'Tu Mera Type Ka Nahi Hai'. In fact I am baffled that she can look so amazing and fit despite being a mother to a child. Hats off to her."
While a snapshot from the song had already been revealed, one looks forward to the entire song when this Sunil A Lulla and Shilpa Shetty production releases all over on 28th March.
