It is well known that Drishyam the Malayalam super hit film starring Mohan Lal and Meena is being remade into Tamil and Telegu. While Jeetu Joseph the director of the original version will be directing the Tamil version with Ulaganayagan Kamalhassan reprising the role of Lalettan, the Telegu version will be directed by yesteryear heroine Sripriya who recently made her directorial debut with the Tamil film Malini 22 Palayamkottai.

Drishyam to start soon

The Telugu version of Drishyam will have actor Venkatesh playing the role of the lead man. While Meena is retained for the role she played in Malayalam, Nadiya another leading heroine of 80’s will play the role of the Inspector General that was played by Asha Sridhar in Malayalam.

The shooting will start in March and the director is currently stationed in Kerala for finalizing the locations.
