Isai the film being directed by S.J.Suryah after a long gap, is nearing completion. Suryah who debuted with Ajith starrer Vali directed Vijay in his second film Kushi and its Telegu and Hindi remakes as well. Later he directed and played the lead role for the first time in the film, New whose success gave raise to his dreams of becoming a top hero. He again acted as the hero of his next directorial venture A Aa which was also a moderate success. The film released in 2006 stands to be the last film he directed in Tamil. Later on he left Direction and tried hard to establish himself as a hero, with a slew of films, but none of them got him the much needed recognition.

He Directed a Telegu film Puli, starring Pawan Kalyan but that also failed at the box office. Now the he is back to Tamil and this time he is debuting as the Music director apart from Directing and starring in his film. The film has debutant Savithri paired against Suryah,

The audio release of the film is expected to happen soon and plans are on to release the film on 3rd of May. It is to be remembered that, Vali released on May 1, 1999 and turned out to be one of the most successful films in Ajith’s career.

So will the May month of 2014 will be as successful as it was in 1999 for Suryah? Let’s wait and watch.
