Two stalwarts had their respective movies hitting the theatres on the eve of Pongal occasion and both are receiving fair amount of reviews respectively. The Jilla team organized a success meet and theatre owners, distributors and the producers too thanked the fans for its tremendous response. As we hear the success ratio is larger than that of Thuppakki itself, as the movie is said to have garnered 1.5 crores in less than 2 days around Chennai division.

Speaking at the function, Vijay who is usually media shy said he is grateful to the director and his fans, without which the movie would have not tasted success. He also congratulated the team of Veeram as the movie is a grand success, and further went on to wish Ajith and Siva personally on Veeram’s resounding response.
