Prithviraj will be teaming up with debut director Nirmal Sahadev for an upcoming English-Malayalam crossover movie titled 'Detroit Crossing'. The movie's shoot is already progressing in the US and the latest that we hear is versatile actor Rahman has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the movie. Rahman, who had previously shared screen space with Prithviraj in Mumbai Police, will be playing a daring character in the upcoming movie. The actor says that it is a challenging role, which has a suspense factor. Rahman is currently in the US shooting his portions.

Detroit Crossing revolves around gang wars involving Tamils in Detroit. Prithviraj's character is part of a Tamil street gang in Detroit in the movie, which is a neo-noir film with violence as part of the plot. Isha Talwar plays the female lead, along with Ashwin Kumar, Nandu and Shivjith in supporting roles.
