South Africa's women's cricket team captain Dane van Niekerk married her same sex lover and teammate Marizanne Kapp on Sunday. The couple had been going strong for many years and made their cricket debut within two days apart in 2009.

Dane van Niekerk and Marizanne Kapp's wedding was attended by all their current team mates. They are the second pair of same sex couple's to tie the knot from the cricketing world after Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu from New Zealand.
