In the past we had ‘Cauvery Thiradalli’ Kannada film co produced by senior PRO Nagendra with Padmanabh Raju. Its main producer was Kendaganna Shetty. It was directed by S Narayan with Raghuveer as hero and Sangeetha as heroine who is currently a respectable supporting actress. It was released in March 1994.
The present cinema we are talking about is ‘Cauvery Thirada Charitre’ – the life of people who live on the banks of river Cauvery water.

Pavithra Productions ND Puttaraju is producer of this film ready with first print. It is hitting silver screen in the month of November.

The film was shot at places where there is problem related to Cauvery water sharing issue. In Mandya, KR Pete, Bhoovarahanatha Temple, Hariharapura, Akki Hebbalu, Kallahalli, Chikkagaadinahalli, Bommenahalli, surroundings for 35 days shoot was held for this film.

Water scarcity in KRS surroundings the effect it passes on cattle, people drinking water and agricultural lands – all get a solution from a school child in the film.

BS Manjunath written the script and Praveen Beluru is director. Praveen has also done cinematography, editing and stunts for this film. AT Ravish is music director.

Naveen Gowda, Pavithra, Akhila Naidu, Priti Vittalapura and others are in the cast of a special film for the Cauvery belt region.
