Bollywood’s chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor has amazed us with the trailer from his upcoming movie, ‘Kabir Singh’ which is the official remake of Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy’ looks like he has not only stunned his fans but also other celebs as well. Recently, South Superstar and Baahubali star, Prabhas watched the video and was taken back with his brilliant performance.

Prabhas who will be next seen in ‘Saaho’ along with Shraddha Kapoor called up Shahid and congratulated him. Reportedly, the South star was so impressed with the trailer that he spoke to Shahid for around 7-odd minutes and congratulated him. It all started when celebrity hair stylist Aalim Hakim, who was with Prabhas at the time while the Baahubali star saw the Kabir Singh trailer insisted Prabhas to call up Shahid, and Hakim decided to connect the two stars. “I was in Hyderabad shooting for Saaho with Prabhas, and the teaser of Kabir Singh had just launched online. Prabhas checked it out and loved it. Even his team members, who have enjoyed Arjun Reddy, felt that Shahid looked brilliant. Seeing Prabhas’ reaction to the promo, I called up Shahid and handed him the phone. The former praised him and said that Kabir Singh looks even better than the original. Both of them chatted for a good seven-odd minutes,” Aalim Khan said.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Kabir Singh’ also stars Kiara Advani in the lead role and is all set to hit the screens on June 21, 2019.
